What is it like to attend ACT-W?

  • The speakers were great and helped set the tone for a fun, genuine, and inclusive conference. As an attendee, I appreciated that the different tracks were labeled and that you could choose your own adventure in the afternoon. As a sponsor, I found the volunteers to be super helpful and generous with their time. We were hoping to meet a diverse group of people who were curious and excited to learn. ACT-W brought this group together!

  • What an amazing space - not only wonderful to meet other women, but excellent topics for sessions also. It's so refreshing and energizing to be at a conference with so many other technical women. I'm so used to being one of a few most of the time. 🙂

  • As a male ally and personnel manager, I definitely feel the experience of attending this conference has made me a better manager overall. I would recommend it. The lightning keynote session was great. A lot of great information and perspectives packed into one hour!

  • I usually hate going to conferences because I only get so much relevant information. However, this conference was amazing, and I got so much out of it! There was always a session that was not only relevant, but helpful. I got career advice and learned strategies for how to present myself to potential employers. I connected with a lot of great people in my field, learned about the day to day in a career path I am considering, and I even made a connection with a potential future employer. I left feeling really empowered and ready to take the next steps in my career.
